MC-CAMFT Newsletter Policy and Advertising Rates
Respect for the profession and for each other as colleagues prompts the following guidelines for advertising in the newsletter. Our purpose in carrying advertising in our newsletter is to enable useful information to flow within the Monterey County Marriage and Family Therapy community. Acceptable vendors for the MC-CAMFT newsletter are those who promote therapeutic-based products and services. Advertising can be done in the form of a classified in the newsletter or a flyer also included in the newsletter. Advertisements for services directed toward clinicians and directly pertaining to the practice of the profession, such as those which enhance therapeutic skills or provide services, are permitted, as are those that contribute to clinician wellness. Ads that seek to influence members' political points of view or do not pertain directly to the profession are not permitted.
Publication of any advertisement by MC-CAMFT is not an endorsement of the products and/or services advertised. MC-CAMFT is not responsible for any claims made in an advertisement or promotion of services. Advertisers may not, without prior consent, incorporate in a subsequent advertisement the fact that a product or service has been advertised in the MC-CAMFT newsletter. Member mailing labels are sold to interested parties in accordance with this advertising policy. MC-CAMFT reserves the right to refuse any advertising or requests for member mailing labels.

Advertisements including classified and flyers must be placed prior to the advertising deadline and will appear within the newsletter. All ads must obtain approval by the Advertising Chair and the MC-CAMFT Board President.
Newsletter Submission Deadlines, Publication Dates and Rates
Submission and approval for all advertisements, including payment, is due by the 15th of the preceding month. Newsletters are published at the beginning of the month every other month (February/March, April/May, June/July, August/September, October/November, December/January). Advertisements should be submitted by email attached as a Word document with the exact wording desired. Priority is given to current MC-CAMFT members to advertise in the newsletter.
